The beauty community is constantly changing, which means there are always new products to try, and I’m always on the hunt to find the best of the best. Since I can’t afford to buy all the amazing products right away I’ve put together some products I can’t wait to try and why they’re on my wishlist. I hope you guys enjoy, and maybe find something you want in your collection as well.
I learned as I’ve gotten older that my skin is always changing, and now that I live in a different climate I’m learning a whole new side to my skin. I’ve been needing much different products than I’m used to. I would never have been the person to buy hydrating products before, but here I am misting my skin throughout the day and feeling like I need extra hydration all the time. Also, eye creams?! Wow, I never realized how important they truly are, I feel like my under eyes is probably my biggest problem area because of how dry they get as well as my natural discoloration. Here are some products I’ve had my eyes on over the past couple of months.
1. Caudalie Vinosouce S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum | $49
This is one of my favorite hydrating serums, I had it years ago and I remember loving it in both the winter and summer. It was the perfect drink for your skin when it felt extra dehydrated and so soothing after a day at the beach. I haven’t had it in my collection for at least 4 years and I need it back!
2. TATCHA Luminous Dewy Skin Mist | $48
My skin has been so dehydrated! I wouldn’t even say it’s dry because I still get oily, it’s just patchy and not the happiest. I didn’t think this would work for me because I remember hearing it’s a little too much for oily skin, but I think this would be the perfect Winter refresher through the day.
3. Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream | $38
Anything that has Vitamin C in it, I’m game. I take my eye creams real serious because they’re such a problem area for me. My undereyes are not as firm as I want them to be, dark, and they always look tired. This is the ideal product for me. I like that it doesn’t look like a very heavy cream either because I’ve used Ole Henriksen’s gel eye cream and that’s a nightmare. I don’t think that this one will disappoint.
4. MISSHA Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence | $25
I’ve had my eyes on this baby for a while, and every time I go down the beauty aisle in Target I want to grab it. If I’m picking up an essence for the first time, you best believe it’s going to be a Korean brand. Essence before serums and moisturizer is a vital part to Korean skincare and so I’m excited to jump on this trend.
5. Clinique Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto Replenishing Hydrator | $39
I’m always looking for a new moisturizer, it’s one of those things I don’t changes my skin that much especially if it’s a gel consistency. I love trying out new moisturizers. This is around the same price as the Origins GinZing, which if you’ve been reading this blog for a little while you know is a favorite of mine!
6. Murad Nutrient-Charged Water Gel | $60
A little more expensive than I’m used to, if I’m going to spend $60 on a moisturizer it’s most likely going to be Tatcha The Water Gel, but this stuff looked so delicious in the packaging and so hydrating that I really want to give it a try.
7. Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial | $80
25% AHA and 2% BHA meaning it’s going to be a chemical peel and it’s clean out those pores and the AHA will also help tighten those pores. I’d love to be able to do this every few weeks as a restart for my skin.
8. Dr. Jart+ Firm Lover Rubber Mask | $12
I’ve seen these rubber masks on Snapchat and Instagram stories every once in a while and it seems so cool. I’m not the biggest fan on sheet masks, I feel like I count down the minutes until I can take it off my face. I just never feel like it fits comfortable and I’m always fidgeting with it. I’ve been trying to get more into it though because there’s nothing better than a mask you don’t have to wash off!
1. Benefit’s BADGal BANG! Mascara | $24
Have you SEEN the length that everyone has been getting with this mascara? The lashes are basically crawling off of everyone’s faces. I need this. Benefit never disappoints me with their mascara so I’m pretty excited to try this out, and every other mascara they ever come out with!
2. Erborian CC Creme High Definition Radiance Face Cream Skin Perfector | $44
The longest name ever, but I’ve been dying to try this stuff ever since seeing it on Christen Dominique’s channel a while back. I’ve also wanted to try to it cosmetics CC cream, but I’m drawn to this more. It’s a Korean skincare brand, which is always enticing, and color matches to your skin tone with SPF in it. I reach for CC creams with SPF in them all the time because it’s just an easier all-in-one. I need this in my collection!
3. SMASHBOX Photo Finish Primerizer | $42
My skin has been so strange lately, a true combination. I have dry patches in the middle of my forehead and on my temples and it comes through my foundation most of the time so I find myself looking for hydrating primers, which usually NEVER work for me. When I swatched this it was so hydrating and made me hand feel so amazing so I’m hoping it translates to the face.
4. Becca First Light Priming Filter Face Primer | $38
I’m excited to try this stuff because I absolutely love the dr. brandt luminizer primer and this reminds me of that, but with a thinner consistency which will hopefully be more hydrating. The bottle is so beautiful and the product is purple and that’s just an added bonus.
5. Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder | $35
I went into Sephora a while ago to get a sample of this and the girl working showed me something else and I never actually got a sample of the Cover FX powder. I’ve been wanting this for a while, and need something that isn’t going to suck the life out of my under eyes.
6. Makeup Revolution Concealer + Define Full Coverage Concealer | $7
Everyone and their mother has been raving that this could be a dupe for Tarte Shape Tape and I’m hoping to save a bunch of money as well and not support a brand that only thinks there are 3 skin tones.
7. Kylie Cosmetics Skin Concealer | $20
I may have some of the dryest under eyes, the darkest circles and vein discoloration and so picking a concealer is always a task. This seems to look a lot like the Urban Decay Weightless Concealer with a little more oomph, which I’m hoping for. I loved the applicator and consistency of the UD one, but needed a little more coverage.
8. Lancôme GRANDIÔSE Bendable Liquid Eyeliner | $32
This is way more expensive than I would like to spend on a liquid eyeliner, but as someone who is kind of new to liquid eyeliner I love the idea of being about to move the handle to something more comfortable for myself. MakeupShayla on Youtube raves about how it’s the blackest black eyeliner too, so I’d love to give it a try.
9. NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation | $49
This is HYPED. I haven’t really come across anyone on Youtube or social media that doesn’t absolutely love this stuff. It apparently works on all skin types and looks very natural, which I’m all about! Not to mention the packaging is sleek and beautiful.
10. Bobbi Brown Bronzer | $44
I’ve hit pan on my Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer and I want to try out a high end bronzer really bad. I love that the reviews for this say it’s completely matte. I love that option, if I want to shimmer it up I can do that with highlight, but I love me a matte bronzer.
Maison Margiela Replica Lazy Sunday Morning | $126
I got a sample of this perfume a month or so ago at Sephora and I fell in love. This is a perfect everyday perfume. It’s soft and clean and literally smells like an upgraded version of clean laundry. I love everything about this and feel so effortlessly beautiful when I smell like this stuff. I’m not a huge fan of warm smells any time of the year so this is perfect for any season for me.
I hope you guys enjoyed my list, there are so many I want to try! I’m going to start doing this every season adding items to the wishlist based on what my skin needs and what I’m into during that season! What are some of your go-to winter products?
