I’m pretty surprised I’ve kept with this for week one of four. Here’s an update so far from this… interesting looking supplement from taste to mental clarity.
The first day I took this I think I jumped the gun, I got the package after work and took it immediately, which was at about 6PM. The instructions are to take it in the morning and then 2~ hours before bed, so I took it at around 6PM, and didn’t take another one before bed. I didn’t want to take took much so quickly, especially because I knew I’d take it again in the morning.
What Does it Taste Like?
It honestly does not taste that bad, it’s more mental than anything because it comes out looks like pus and if you let it sit in a liquid for took long it doesn’t knock back as easily as if you just shoot it quick. It starts to separate, but never mixes into the liquid. It’s weird, just drink it quick.
If you really can’t handle textures, or overthink it and find yourself having a hard time drinking it I’d recommend drinking it with orange juice with pulp. The pulp kind of distracts you from any other feeling and you cannot taste it whatsoever. I think if I gave it to my boyfriend with orange juice he wouldn’t even be able to tell, if he liked orange juice I’d try, but just trust me on this one.
Does it Make You More Clear Minded?
And for the main reason you’re here – I can at least say that I do feel a little sharper in the morning. I’ve noticed that it doesn’t take as long for me to start working when I sit at my desk in the morning. I feel like there have been a lot less things I’m forgetting as well, so balancing different projects at work has been a little cleaner. I mean I have taken all but one within the week and the only reason I missed it once was because I went straight from work to out with friends and didn’t get home til 3AM. I did however wash my face and put on Farmacy’s Honeymoon Glow Night Serum before bed! Skincare comes first, we all know this.
I wouldn’t say this is a total game changer though, I mean I did lock myself out of my house yesterday so how good is it really? I’m not sure how long it’s supposed to take for it to take full effect, but as of right now I feel like I could stop taking it and it really wouldn’t be that different.
Does it Help with Relaxation?
As I mentioned above, I have felt like I had a little more energy while taking this, maybe it’s a placebo effect, but either way I’ll take it. I have a hard time getting going in the morning, but I feel like this has set me up with a little bit of a routine in the morning that I really enjoy.
It’s recommended to take 2 hours before bed, but I’ve noticed the first few times taking this that if I take it too close to going to bed I’m up all night. I was laying there staring at the ceiling the first night I took it and I love sleep. I love, love sleep and normally don’t have problems getting to bed anymore. It says that it’s supposed to keep you relaxed, but I haven’t experienced that whatsoever. I took it yesterday, a couple hours before going to see Toy Story 4 and I had a panic attack for the first 30 minutes of the movie, so yeah… can’t relate. My panic attack probably had nothing to do with the supplement, but it definitely doesn’t help me relax.
If you have similar issue with anxiety you may feel the same, just don’t go into this thinking it’s going to be something that changes your anxiety – if it works, great and if it doesn’t then that’s okay too.
