Back with another BoxyLuxe review whether you like it or not because I actually really enjoy sharing these with you guys. Some of these products I’ve been eyeing for a while, and was so exciting to see them in the box – other’s I’d never really seen before to be honest.
Let’s start with something I’ve been eyeing for so long – let’s just cut to the chase. No filters on these picture so you can see what life’s really like.
Tarte Park Avenue Princess Palette | $45
Probably the most photo worthy – this palette is gorgeous. Gator skin gold palette. The outside is gorgeous, and even if you’re not into the print, you’ll be into how luxe it looks. I love leaving this out with my skincare just because it’s so clean and pretty.
This palette is great, and smells delicious. If you have any of the tartiest palette you know that chocolately goodness smell.
As for colors – there’s a good amount of undertones in this palette – cool, red, and golden, but I wish they extended the palette at least one more shade of darker neutral brown. I really enjoy using this as not only a subtle contour, but an all over bronze to my face. I’m pretty fair, but I even threw a tiny bit of the darker glistening shade into the deepest parts of my bronzer.
So, overall, killer palette to have, even if you’re only going to use one or two shades. Awesome if you are a makeup artist looking for a fun contour palette to use on it’s own or mix with more neutral tones.
Violet Voss Essentials Eyeshadow Palette | $29
To be honest I haven’t tried this – looking to add it into a future giveaway. Stay tuned.
dr brandt Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleeping Mask | $52
I love dr brandt’s products – they were an early favorite of mine. This Hydro Biotic line is the absolute best, I’ve already tried this mask and have just about run out so I was happy to see this again. They changed the packaging from a jar to a squeezy tube, which I looooove.
This mask is awesome, especially if you put it in the fridge on a hot summer day. The texture of this is greatheyt, you really feel like you have a good hydrating layer without it feeling too thick. It’s gel-like, and cooling when putting it on, but I wish it had a minty smell or feeling. Cool, jelly-like masks are my favorite when they feel the same as they do when they come out of the jar, ya know? Still an awesome sleeping mask to have in your rotation.
I like putting this one on right before bed. It slips very easily so I feel like if my face touches my shoulder, hand, the blanket I’m using, or whatever it’ll wipe off. Slap it on, and sleep on your back.

Hank & Henry Blickity Black Eye Liner | $20
I’m on the fence with this one. I want to try it because I want to branch out and wear eyeliner more often, and on the other end I want to give it away because $20 for a liquid eyeliner… this shit better be good.

Stila Stay all Day Liquid Lipstick in Angelo | $22
I’m so tempted to try this – I may have to. I figured I’d throw this into the giveaway as well. I know people love how long stila products last, so I know their lipsticks will be no different. I love the color of this, it’s a beautiful pale peachy pink, would look phenomenal on lighter skintones, but I don’t want to use it just to use it when someone could really love it (probably the hardest part of beauty blogging is feeling wasteful).
Glow Recipe Pineapple-C Bright Serum | $49
Okay, gotta say it. This shit smells like sour trash that spent one too many days in the kitchen, but god damnit it works.
I’ve used this a good amount of times – a surprising amount of times considering the first time I used it I felt like I needed to refrigerate it because it smelled so bad.
This stuff definitely gives you a glow. Pineapple is a great chemical exfoliator. Did you know if you eat too much pineapple it can actually burn your tongue? However, it’s a great way to give yourself, in a way, an at-home chemical peel, just waaaayyyy less aggressive.
Sutra Clipless Curling Iron with Coop Tip | $65
I was pumped to see this in the box, especially because it was 1.25″, and I only had a 1″ that always felt too small. I saw the price and thought, oh hell yeah I’d probably never get around to buying an expensive curling iron, this should be awesome.
This was the biggest dud to me. I liked that the bottom swiveled so I wasn’t always stuck on the cord, but I felt like I was always wishing their was a clamp to help me out. I also didn’t feel like this got hot enough, and there’s only one setting. Not my favorite, maybe it will be in time. I’ll keep ya updated.

IGK Mistress Hydrating Balm | $29
Balms and hair are never a good place for me to be. I have very fine hair, and just living life weighs down my hair so heavy hair products I stay away from. I thought about putting this one in the giveaway pile too, but I just couldn’t stop thinking about it. This feels like the perfect Saturday morning, grab a coffee while walking the dog, sit down and write type of product. I gotta lather up my hair and let you guys know, I couldn’t pass this one up. I’ll let you know if you’re better off just buying a jar of coconut oil on Amazon.
