I was lucky enough to have Good Molecules send a bunch of products my way, so I thought I’d sit down and let you guys know how I feel about the brand and the products they sent.
One in particular saved my ass one day after the gym, read more for the story.

Good Molecules reminds me of The Ordinary, Fourth Ray, etc., the type of skincare brands that are trying to make good quality products at a price that’s affordable for everyone.
The brand is apparently formulated by veterans in the skincare field, not sure who or where they worked, but it’s nice to know it’s by people that have experience with skincare. Although, I do wish I could find more info on the brand.
Good Molecules/Beautylish sent me: Ultra Hydrating Facial Oil ($10), Pure Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Oil ($10), Daily Brightening Serum ($9), Super Peptide Serum ($12), and their Silicone-free Priming Moisturizer ($14). Yes, it was incredibly generous of them to send all these over!
Overall – I’ve been using this brand almost exclusively for the past few weeks in order to get a better idea of how I like to use them, what I reach for the most, if they’re working on my skin, and what I feel like I’m missing or would like to add into my routine.

I like the packaging on these – frosted glass bottle with a dropper is always nice, especially for products that are so affordable. I didn’t expect for them to be glass. Along with the second package I received (just the Rosehip Oil,) there was a card that talked about sustainability, the removal of the middle man so they know exactly where their ingredients come from, and they know their sustainable and eco-conscious. I really liked the openness of this. It’s too bad I can’t find this information anywhere on their website or Beautylish, I feel like it’s awesome to know the products you’re supporting are being eco-conscious.
Favorite Products – hands down the serums and silicone-free priming moisturizer. I’ve been using the moisturizer day and night and I love how lightweight, hydrating, and easy it is. It’s fragrance-free (at least I think it is,) and has a pump. No gross fingers in a jar, and I haven’t had any issues putting it on top of any products.
The Daily Brightening Serum I noticed was great for evening my complexion. Before I was sent these I was using the Summer Fridays CC Me Serum (which is a holy grail vitamin c product for me right now,) and I honestly thought this did a better job at evening my complexion. I had 1-2 breakouts on my cheeks during this process and I noticed the spot/scar left behind lightening up way faster than normal. It’s not as brightening as the cc me serum, I notice more of a glow when I use Summer Fridays, but I’ve been layering and I really love the results. All the glow of SF, all the hydration and brightening of good molecules. It’s also not sticky at all, which is a HUGE plus for me.
Super Peptides Serum has been great to have as well. I may be a little heavy handed with this because it’s honestly so hydrating. I feel like my pores have been tighter, less need to fill them in with concealer around my cheeks. Overall, really enjoying. I like to use anti-aging products at night, so I slap a lot of this on before oils/moisturizer and let it soak in.
Saving grace – so, I have an issue with my skin when I work out. I cannot rub or wipe my face when it’s all sweaty and salty, I just end up having really tight and uncomfortable skin if I do. I found this out the hard way, I was using my shirt to wipe my skin, and by the time I got home my skin was burning. It was hot, dry, itchy, so so so uncomfortable. I threw on some Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask and it just burned more. I SLATHERED, when I say slathered I mean, I went in on my face with the Ultra Hydrating Facial Oil, and it immediately calmed down. No more tightness, my face wasn’t as red and hot, felt like it went back to normal.
So, if you have uncontrollable skin, frequently have issues that like get this. Even after putting a ridiculous amount on my skin, I didn’t have clogged pores or anything.
The ONLY thing I can say I’m not a huge fan of, in regards to the oils actually, is how thick the oil is. I love a dry-ish oil. The only way I can explain this is the Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Face Oil. This is my perfect face oil. The consistency of this, the way it sinks in is a dream. I judge all my oils based off this, so seeing a thick, yellow, almost cooking-oil-looking face oil I wasn’t super pumped about using it. I think the oils, for me, will be added into other products, or used in emergencies. However, if you are a fan of thicker oils you’ll love this one, and it’s cheap, so it’s a win-win.

If you like a heavier oil then ignore me, you’ll love these. They’re pure oils too, no added junk.
Would I recommend – if you’re just starting to get into skincare, or are on a budget I’d definitely recommend trying this brand, especially the Daily Brightening Serum, emergency Ultra-Hydrating Facial Oil, and the Silicone-free Priming Moisturizer.

Products I want to try next – Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches (eye patches are one of those luxe things that I think everyone should have on hand), Niacinamide Brightening Toner (always down for a good toner), and Wake Up Eye Serum (I’m so bad at using eye products).
