The closer it gets to spooky vibes the more I wish I was back on the East Coast soaking up all the Fall energy. So, as that feeling approaches I thought it’d be fun to share the mezcal recipe Matt and I have been drinking lately. Don’t worry, the smoky taste can bring you into the Winter perfectly as well.

This recipe would be awesome for a night in with your person, or a movie night with some friends by the fire. I’ve added my glasses (the higher version, can’t find the short ones I have, and a couple more options if you’re hosting)!
Mezcal Campari Recipe:
2oz. Mezcal – we’ve been using Bozal Ensamble lately and really, really love it. It’s a little expensive, around $40-50 per bottle, but what’s life without good booze? I’m too old now to drink the cheap stuff. Would love to collab with them because I’ve repurchased a few times now, I might reach out and see if I can get a code for you guys.
1oz. Campari – this adds a great bitterness.
1/2 oz. lime juice (add to taste) – this makes the campari look a little hazy, adds a brightness to the drink without taking away from anything. If you need to add a splash more go for it!
1-2 tsp of agave – sweeten that baby up!
Ice – Can’t forget the ice. Lately I’ve been using a round ice balls, but I’d probably prefer crushed ice honestly.
Optional: topo chico!
Add a splash of topo chico to fizz it up or mellow out the drink if it’s a little too strong for your liking
That’s it! Easy as that, here are also some barware accessories if you enjoyed making these and want to amp up your at-home bar:
Please post your pictures of you guys making them and tag me (and Bozal) so I can cheers you from afar!
