I talk to my friends about skincare a lot, and I’d like to think I’m someone they go to when they need some skin advice.
I’ve put together a list of some of my ride or die products. These are products I’ve repurchased, or need to repurchase.
I know people can’t spend a ton of money lately on products to just try. A lot of these are products that I’ve used and loved, and others have used and loved.
These are THE products, ya know? My ride of dies. My I’ll-always-go-back-to. My favorites.
Summer Fridays The Hydration Set | $75
I wanted to just link the CC Me Vitamin C Serum because I honestly think it’s one of the best Vitamin C serums out there right now, but I saw this set and thought it was an awesome deal for an extra $10. I love jet lag mask, if you’ve been around you know I rave about it all the time. I keep it on my bedside table for extra hydration before bed. I haven’t tried to lip balm yet, but everyone raves about it and it’s always sold out.
Plus, you get a cute bag with it!
Summer Fridays Overtime Mask | $44
When I first used this when they released it I honestly thought it was overpriced and I didn’t really enjoy it. I don’t waste anything, if I can tolerate the smell and it’s not ruining my skin I usually will just keep using it until it’s gone. I’m so glad I did.
After using this 3-4x I realized I loved it. After I ran out of my first tube I realized I couldn’t live without it. I finished the second tube and haven’t purchased another one because it seems like it’s always sold out.
This mask is great because you can really make it your own. You feel like you need a physical exfoliator? Rub the mask in while you’re apply for about a minute. Don’t want physical exfoliation, just chemical to lift the dead skin? Spread it on your face and don’t rub it in, leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Want to get in the Halloween/Thanksgiving spirit? You got that too.
You’ll feel your face get a little hot and fuzzy (I thought I was having an allergic reaction the first time), and after a while I craved that feeling because it made my skin feel like it was deep cleaned after. I haven’t had this in what feels like a year and I NEED another tube ASAP.
I linked this through Revolve because it’s sold on at Sephora and I don’t think it’ll be restocked in time for the sale and it’s THAT good. Just note that you can’t return used products at Revolve, but I truly believe this is a great mask for all kinds of skintypes.
Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Peels | $80
I honestly think these are good for ANY skin type. Yes, they’re a little aggressive if you have dry skin (but they do have a sensitive option if you need that). I used these every day when I first got them and I didn’t start to feel my skin dry out a little until like week 3. I’d suggest using them like 4-5x the first week, and then using them every other day or every 2 days. Once you get really used to them and you can tell you cant use them that often use them when you need a little extra cleaning/brightening to your skin.
Like I said, if you have very sensitive or very dry skin maybe try the blue pack made for sensitive skin first then upgrade to the orange box for daily peels. If the orange box is not doing it for you try the extra strength.
Ole Henriksen Balance Force Toner | $28
This is such a versatile toner. If you’re new to toners and want just one to use day and night, or if you feel like you just need to switch it up this is the toner to try. So afforable at under $30, and awesome for clearing out clogged pores.
I linked a set they have with their volcanic exfoliator and serum from this line. I have the exfoliator too that I keep in my shower on days I want to feel extra clean. Matt uses it too, maybe once a week.
Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin™ Cream | $48
You know what a moisturizer needs to do? It needs to moisturize. I’m not the type of person to need a moisturizer that’s super anti-aging or whatever. I know that my treatments are going to happen mostly in my serums or my masks. I usually don’t expect for my moisturizer to be the thing that works the magic.
If you’re looking for a simple moisturizer that will actually keep your skin hydrated, this is it. This is so amazing, and can be used night and day. I think it’s great for all skin types too.
Biossance Squalane and Rose Lip Balm | $18
This is great if you want a lip balm that isn’t sticky and feels more oily instead of waxy or sticky. This sinks into your lips, and I love using it at night.
Linked a rose set as well if you want to spend a couple $$ more any try out their squalane + vitamin c rose oil. I also have this, and although I like it and have been using it a lot lately I don’t love it, yet.
Algenist Collagen Dreams Kit | $115
Here’s the thing. We’re ending this on a sweet, slightly more expensive note (but don’t worry I have options). When I tell you GENIUS liquid collagen is amazing I mean I have taken a Qtip and scraped the tube clean.
It’s liquid gold.
It smells amazing (like your own personal spa,) hydrates the hell out of your skin (I swear I can see better after it because my skin is brighter, more hydrated looking, and I feel like a better human.
The 1oz. bottle on it’s own is $115. I’ve added a couple sets, as well as the lip collagen (I want it so bad for lip lines as well as lines around my eyes)!
So there you have it, these are some of my absolute favorite products from Sephora. Ones I’ve repurchased, or am going to repurchase because I believe they’re amazing for any skincare collection.
Let me know if you pick up any of these, and let me know some of your favorites below!
